- The main chilled water system utilizes Pumps of the NB Series. • The secondary chilled water system uses pumps of the NBE Series.
The design of the proposed solution was based on higher hydraulic performance, higher reliability, easier maintenance, and energy efficiency. A comprehensive investment and ROI analysis revealed that the upgrade could deliver more than 30% in energy savings compared to the existing system.
To ensure a seamless transition, the project was executed under a comprehensive Supply, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning (SITC) contract, enabling the new system to be installed without disrupting daily operations.
The Results
The facility management team has decided, after a comprehensive technical and financial review, to replace the existing pumps with four NB and four NBE pumps.
