Continuous Fill Batch Reactor

Continuous Fill Batch Reactor (CFBR) Systems

The Continuous Fill Batch Reactor (CFBR) with Jet Tech technology is an advanced, efficient solution for biological wastewater treatment, suitable for handling various flow rates and storm flows. This system is designed to simplify operation while delivering high-quality effluent.

How CFBR Works:

  • Operation: The CFBR system treats wastewater in a batch process that continuously fills the reactor. It efficiently handles flow rates from 25,000 gallons per day (GPD) up to tens of millions of GPD, and can manage storm flows up to five times the design capacity.
  • Technology: Incorporates industry-leading fine bubble diffusers that enhance oxygen transfer and biological treatment. It also features a unique solids-excluding decanter that operates without electro-mechanical equipment in the basin, simplifying maintenance and reducing energy consumption.

Continuous Fill Batch Reactor Benefits:

  • Biological Nutrient Removal (BNR): Optional BNR capability for more effective removal of nutrients such as nitrogen and phosphorus.
  • Uniform Influent Distribution: Ensures even distribution of wastewater, improving treatment consistency.
  • Scum-Free Decanter: The submerged decanter design prevents scum formation and maintains efficient separation of treated water and sludge.
  • High Quality Effluent: Maintains high effluent quality even during peak storm flows, ensuring reliable performance under varying conditions.
  • No Clarifiers Needed: Eliminates the need for additional clarifiers, reducing system complexity and footprint.
  • Simple Automation: Features automated controls for straightforward operation and minimal manual intervention.
  • Cost-Efficiency: Provides a cost-effective solution with low capital and operational expenses.

The CFBR system offers a robust and efficient approach to wastewater treatment, combining ease of use, high performance, and cost savings.
