Iron Removal

Iron Removal Water Filter

Iron removal is a crucial process in water treatment, particularly for groundwater sources where iron is commonly found. Iron can affect water quality by causing staining, impacting taste, and promoting the growth of iron bacteria. At Alantech, we utilize advanced technology to effectively address these issues with our Iron Removal Filter.

The Iron in groundwater typically exists as ferrous bicarbonate (Fe(HCO₃)₂), which is soluble and not visible in clear water. When this water is exposed to air, it oxidizes to form ferric hydroxide (Fe(OH)₃), a particulate form of iron that turns the water turbid.

Our Iron Removal Filter:

  • Catalytic Oxidation: Our New Generation Iron Removal Filter employs specialized iron removal media that facilitates catalytic oxidation. This process converts soluble ferrous iron into insoluble ferric iron, which can then be effectively removed from the water.
  • Filter Design: The filter is designed to handle varying iron concentrations and ensure that treated water contains less than 0.3 ppm of iron as Fe, meeting high-quality standards.

System Capabilities

  • Flow Rates: Our iron removal units are available to accommodate a wide range of flow rates, up to 100 m³/h, making them suitable for various residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
  • Customization: We offer tailored solutions to meet specific needs, ensuring optimal performance and water quality.

Benefits of Alantech Iron Removal Filter

  • Effective Iron Reduction: Significantly lowers iron concentrations in treated water, improving aesthetic qualities and preventing staining.
  • Enhanced Performance: The catalytic oxidation process ensures efficient removal of iron, even at higher concentrations.
  • Reliability: Designed for durability and low maintenance, our filters provide a dependable solution for consistent water quality.
